Primary Reflex workshops

These Reflexes are also known as Primitive, or Early, Reflexes.

Primary and Early Reflexes are essential for survival and development as a baby, but when they fail to integrate, they can often be behind reactions which seem childish, or extreme, and can be a significant factor in developmental conditions such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, and disnumeracy, in allergies, depression, panic attacks, poor social skills, clumsiness, issues with food, phobias, and may also still be present for those born by Caesarean, or whose birth or gestation was difficult or traumatic.

Imagine what would happen if your milk teeth stayed firmly in place, preventing your adult teeth from emerging naturally. This is what happens when Primary Reflexes remain, blocking the development of adult neurology. If you have ever seen an adult having a ‘Toddler Tantrum’, or seen someone with a relentlessly sweet tooth, or someone who freezes like a rabbit in the headlights in stressful situations, Primary Reflexes could be the missing piece in the jigsaw, and once they have been integrated, changes happen easily and naturally.

Each Reflex workshop comes with detailed notes, and includes Reflex Integration techniques.

The two day workshops also include testing for individual Retained Reflexes, and opportunities to be both client and facilitator in Reflex Integration sessions.

Primary Reflex Information Day for parents, carers, non-practitioners, doulas and those interested in Primary or Primitive Reflexes (1 day)

This information day is designed for those who want to discover more about Early Reflexes and the impact they can have if they are retained beyond the age of about 3 years. Discover what Foetal and Primary (or Primitive) Reflexes are, their function in a child’s development, and signs which these Early Reflexes may be Retained.

Just as milk teeth make way for adult teeth, these Reflexes should give way to make space for more sophisticated Reflex reactions needed for childhood, teenage and adult life. If, like milk teeth, the Reflexes remain in place, this can make life more difficult, and underpin developmental delays and also be a factor in dyslexia, dyspraxia, phobias, addictions, anxiety….and so much more.

If you have ever noticed ‘driven’ behaviour in yourself or in those around you, or experience phobias, allergies, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, eating disorders, addictions, panic attacks, clumsiness….the list goes on and on…. then this workshop can help you to understand why. You will also learn a Tapping technique which will help you to integrate any Reflexes which are Retained, allowing adult neurology to emerge.

This workshop may also be used by those wishing to refresh their knowledge of Retained Reflexes. This workshop does not need people attending to be able to muscle-test or dowse. It does include EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)-based general integration. It is aimed at anyone wanting to know more, including parents, carers, and practitioners who want a basic knowledge without detailed integration techniques.

This workshop is currently run in Devon, and is £90 per person

Primary Reflex Integration Parts 1 (2 days) & 2 (2 days)

These experiential workshops deliver a strong basic grounding in the concept of Primary Reflexes (also known as Primitive Reflexes), the impact which they can have if they are still present beyond the age of 3 years, and a way to integrate them in a single session which allows adult neurology to develop naturally. Originally only available to kinesiologists, we now work with groups of practitioners from all different techniques, as well as people interested in learning more about the impact these Reflexes can have if they remain firmly in place. The only pre-workshop requirement is that you can either muscle-test with confidence, or have another way of getting a Yes or No response from the body, such as dowsing.

Part 1 Foetal and Primary Reflex Integration gives in-depth information on Foetal Reflexes as a group, and on  17 individual Primary or Primitive Reflexes and how to integrate them in a single session. Ideal for practitioners and those interested in gaining a working knowledge of Retained Foetal and Primary Reflexes. Those attending this workshop need to be able to muscle-test, or to get a Yes/No response from the body using another technique such as dowsing.

Part 2 The Art of Contextuals builds on the Integration workshop for those who have already completed the Part 1 workshop, looking at particular contexts in which these Early Reflexes may be retained. For example, people with a fear or phobia in a particular situation may have a Retained Moro or Fear Paralysis Reflex.

The initial Reflex Integration work creates a firm overall foundation. Building on this foundation, discover how to apply the concept to particular situations in which Reflex-driven behaviours are displayed.

Learn more about the “Adult” Reflexes which emerge to replace these Early Reflexes, and how to support and strengthen them as they emerge.

Discover more about the potential breadth of Retained Reflex influence. Apply the concept of Retained Primary Reflexes to Inner Child and Parts work; to working with inherited and family Reflex patterns; in surrogate working; and in working with animals.

The Primary Reflex Parts 1 and 2 workshops are currently run in Devon, and are £150 for each 2 day workshop.

People who have already been on these workshops have said…..

This is essential knowledge, meticulously and sensitively presented.

Andrew Kemp

So detailed and thorough. Beyond expectations. Will be a great use in the future. Animated and interesting and engaging presentation. Ability to mix depth with lightness. There is a generosity in your that I deeply appreciate. An amazing holding presence, right from the first moment I felt held, accepted, seen and allowed to be exactly what I am. The combination of receiving healing and giving it worked beautifully, especially because of your presence and holding and authenticity. You are brilliant and I am so glad I met you. Thank you.
